SUSU researchers created unique classes of high-entropic oxide compounds with magnetoplumbite and perovskite structures. In recent studies they examined the correlation of chemical composition, structural features, magnetic characteristics, and entropic state for a number of representatives of this class of compounds.
Vasily Gertsev was born in the town of Sorochinsk, Orenburg Region, on March 26, 1907. Early in 1922, when a severe famine raged in Orenburg, the Gertsevs moved to Tashkent. Vasily Gertsev began working on the construction of Turksib and studied at a railway technical school and a party school.

The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering took part in the “Sirius. Summer: Start Your Project” program. Two projects were announced: “Designing a lander on a low-gravity field”, and “Designing a reusable ultralight launch vehicle (LV)”. Eduard Gabrin was born on November 6, 1925 in Chelyabinsk. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Finance and Economics.

Vladimir Antropov was born on April 25, 1920 at the Kochnevo station of the Novosibirsk Region. In 1937 he graduated from the Chelyabinsk school No. 1. While studying at school, he was fond of theatre and participated in performances. He was fond of literature, loved classical music, and knew the verses of many modern poets by heart. After finishing the school, he entered the Moscow Institute of Nonferrous Metals named after M.I. Kalinin.
