South Ural State University and AO Promyshlennaya Gruppa Metrana (AO Manufacturing Group Metran) invites applicants to participate in a case competition. The competition is held for applicants in the 12.03.01 Instrumentation Engineering program. The winners, upon enrolling at the university, can obtain a grant from Metran in addition to their academic stipend.
"Today we are launching the Metran scholarship contest. Metran Industrial Group is a leading Russian instrument-making enterprise producing world-class products. It is one of the key partners of SUSU interested in personnel trained by our university,” says Yulia Bolotina, Deputy Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. “The participants of the contest will receive a case, and they will be given 12 days to solve it. A competition committee consisting of leading Metran specialists and scientists from SUSU will evaluate the applicants’ work."
The results will be announced after the publication of the lists of applicants who enrolled in the university. Three winners of the competition among participants enrolled in the Instrumentation Engineering program will receive a scholarship in the amount of 8000 roubles during the first semester, and if they complete their winter exams with "good" and "excellent" marks, they will continue to receive the scholarship in the second semester.

Registration for the contest is open until end of day July 29th. The case must be completed by August 12th. The results will be announced on August 18, 2021.
