On November 16, 2023, the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in the city of Yekaterinburg, Zafar Sayidzoda, took part online in a solemn event that was held at South Ural State University on the occasion of the President's Day in the Republic of Tajikistan and in honour of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
