Representatives of SUSU and Association of International Students Paid a Working Visit to Mongolia

Team of the South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni took a trip to Mongolia with an aim to invite foreign citizens to study in the universities of Chelyabinsk and facilitate the process of their further adaptation.

Head of the SUSU International Student Support, Head of the Association Valeria Chachina, Deputy President of the Association Dilrabo Tozhikulova, and Director of TUMED EDUCATION (the only Mongolian organization which is engaged in promoting Russian education) Ts. Shurenchimeg were the first to visit the Darkhan Uul Aimag (province).

SUSU International Students Awarded Governor’s Grant

The South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni has become the winner in a grants contest organized by the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Under this project, the Association representatives go on trips to Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan in order to attract foreign citizens to come study in Chelyabinsk universities, and facilitate the process of their further adaptation.

SUSU International Students Try Winter Sports

Each year, the SUSU Sociocultural Adaptation Centre organizes winter activities for SUSU international students. The Centre organized fun winter activities for the students, per tradition.

Last December, the students visited the Solnechnaya Dolina (Sunny Valley) ski resort, where they mastered snowboarding and skiing under the guidance of instructors. This was a record-breaking travel event organized by the Centre as 65 people went on this trip. For many students, this was a totally novel experience.
