A big-scale mass event, to which school pupils and students from Chelyabinsk were invited, has been held for the first time over the two years of fruitful work of the "Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School.
Students and staff members of the "Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School presented their developments at six interactive points at the "engineers' fair". Those included:
– Computer vision system, where guests, by putting virtual reality glasses on, could see a live 3D model developed by students as part of the engineering school projects;
– Tankograd Youth Design Bureau, where most of the participants are SUSU students. Together with teachers, they design projects that are being implemented at big enterprises;
– Additive technology and welding zone.
After some interactive activities, during the long break, students moved to the auditorium, where the best students of the Advanced Engineering School were awarded for excellent studies and extracurricular activities. Gifts were presented by the Director of the "Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School Sergey Taran:
"For our part, we do our best to ensure that you achieve success and find your place in life. The main thing in the process of studying is not to be afraid to ask your mentors for help. After all, we are always happy to help!"
Representatives of the partner enterprise, URAL Automobile Plant, also visited the university.
"Our university successfully cooperates with this plant, our students take practical training there. Students have received a variety of handouts and souvenirs. The main thing is that they have learned the specifics of taking an internship and further employment," noted Dmitriy Antonov, representative of the "Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School responsible for organizational work with students.
