Opening of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Robotics jointly with the Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant was discussed by Mikhail Mishustin and Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Texler in the course of a working meeting. The Prime Minister acknowledged the high rate and active growth in all indicators of the social and economic development of our region, and first and foremost in the fields of healthcare and education.
Alexey Texler in details presented the best implemented projects and especially thanked the Chairman of the Government for the current supportive measures towards the Chelyabinsk Region.
To close the meeting, the Governor shared on our region's prospects for the nearest future. In the higher education it would be the construction of the inter-university campus with its three-stage project. Stage one includes two hostels. The facilities under stage two are currently in the process of construction. Stage three will complete the design phase. In 2026 the new campus will be put into operation. The content of the campus has already been agreed upon: jointly with the leading enterprises it is planned to create several dozen of unique modern laboratories.
