On May 30th, the opening of the third labour semester of student teams of the Chelyabinsk Region took place on the square in front of the monument to Kurchatov. More than 700 people took part in the ceremony. This opening is a symbolic start to the working life of students of the South Ural region.
"I feel confident that this year each of you will do what you should: give your strength for the good of our country within the framework of the fields of study that you have chosen. I would like to thank you especially for helping our new entities and for doing many good and useful things during your studies. I wish each of you to enjoy what you do during the summer work semester and continue your studies with the same attitude. I am sure that you will succeed! Remember that #ТрудКрут (#WorkIsCool)!" Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Texler congratulated the students.
In 2024, the movement of the student's labour union of the Russian Federation celebrates its 65th anniversary, as well as the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Student Teams All-Russian Public Youth Organization. Construction, medical, pedagogical teams, rescue teams, guides and service teams, and teenage labour teams will step into the anniversary season.
The commanders of the headquarters of student teams submitted reports on their readiness for the working season and received the coveted vouchers. More than 3500 students from Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Troitsk, Snezhinsk, Ozersk, and Zlatoust began their labour semester.
"Every year the members of the Chelyabinsk regional student team prove that they occupy a leading position in our country. Last year you were in the top three in the aggregate performance among the country's 82 regional departments. I sincerely envy every young member who is going to virgin lands for the first time this year. Believe me, this summer will change your life forever. And I hope that more and more new guys will join the movement. May this summer be the coolest ever. And, of course, we will see you together at our main event – the anniversary all-Russian rally in Moscow," Dmitry Paramonov, Commander of the Central Headquarters of Russian Student Teams, congratulated the South Ural student teams.
Members of student teams will go to the "Peaceful Atom" construction site for capital construction projects of the FSUE PA "Mayak", and will also again participate in the construction of a world-class student campus, which is located in Chelyabinsk. The guys will work in children's camps, on the railway, in hotel complexes. The range of participation of student teams in medical activities will also expand: clinics in our region have prepared more than 100 jobs for student teams.
In the anniversary year, Chelyabinsk will host the solemn round of the All-Russian patriotic campaign "Let us bow to those great years", timed to coincide with the celebration of the Day of Heroes of Tankograd. More than 150 representatives of the student movement from 20 regions of our country will gather in October to commemorate the heroic past of Russia and discuss current issues of patriotic education of youth.
