A team consisting of five students of South Ural State University got substantial personal scholarships as a reward for winning a special contest. They managed to develop a business project which was claimed to be the most prepared for implementation.
More than 100 students and postgraduates of SUSU took part in the contest; there were about 20 teams in total. Within a month, participants had to undertake a series of challenges: intellectual and sport contests, solving business cases, developing a project for promotion of a company’s product. The contestants elaborated a limited collection of Coca-Cola beverage – this company is acting as a partner of the contest. As a reward, students got scholarships amounted from 15 thousand to 40 thousand rubles.
“This is not the first time that we take part in the contest, but it is only now that we managed to win. Such contests provide a lot of motivation for further self-developing, and perhaps we will take part in another project of the company – a program for intern managers. It was very interesting for us to elaborate such business projects. Some members of the jury even noted that our project can be implemented right away,” said one of the winners, Valeria Shestakova.
As a notice, the contest has been held for 11 years. During this time, 165 best students and postgraduates of SUSU received scholarships and grants; 48 people were sent abroad for language internships.
