A spectacular final of the SUSU Miss and Mister 2025 contest has been held at South Ural State University. The participants have demonstrated creative performances, were tested for their fitness, knowledge and cooking skills, and what is more important — they proved that a true victory starts with self-perfection and conquering your own fears.
The project final was held at the university’s Assembly Hall. This contest is a quintessence not only of beauty, but also of creativity, perseverance and friendship. Over the period of one month and a half, participants were preparing for the final: they were engaged in rehearsals and passing tests for their fitness, knowledge, cyber-sports and cooking skills.
“This contest aims at identifying the most talented, creative and smart students of SUSU. The participants have become real friends here, and they even asked for more activities within the contest right before the finals. We hope, this tradition will be resumed,” shared the organizer Anna Arkhipova.
The performances of the final round wowed the audience and the jury: dancing, vocals and acting impressions — each participant put in all their individual talents into their performing.
“You all are already winners since we haven’t held this contest for six years. All of you are wonderful people! Enjoy this moment,” member of the jury Fedor Borodin addressed the participants.
The winners Veronika Grekova and Oleg Ksendzov confessed that the main award for them was their faith in themselves.
“Honestly, I almost broke into tears on stage. My several projects had overlapped, so I had tried to do everything literally in the last moment. I even wanted to quit yesterday — I was mentally exhausted. But I feel ecstatic now! I’m really happy that my input into myself and into this project have paid off. For me, this victory is proof that I can do it, that I’ve made it, passed all the rounds, prepared for each of them, and became the winner,” shared Veronika Grekova.
The contest helped the participants not only uncover their talents, but also united them.
“I really enjoyed it! All the guys were strong participants. I liked everyone’s performances. In general, I feel pleased. For me, this victory means that I’ve bested my competitors this month. Though, to be honest, I can’t call them my competitors — we’ve become united, become friends, and we socialized really well. But it just happens that I’ve been ahead of everyone a tiny bit,” added Oleg Ksendzov.
The organizers hope that the SUSU Miss and Mister contest will become an annual tradition, which will be inspiring students for new achievements.
