A student of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science of South Ural State University (SUSU) Oleg Pariev got included in the list of winners of the Yevgeny Kaspersky Scholarship contest. This prestigious project aimed at supporting young researchers in the field of information security is organised with the participation of the Kaspersky Lab and the Gennady Komissarov Foundation for Support of Young Scientists.
The contest consisted of two rounds, during which an expert council, including the Kaspersky Lab specialists and representatives of leading universities, assessed the participants’ works. Based on the results of the selection, 30 students and postgraduates from Russian universities were granted the right for a monthly scholarship in the amount of 30,000 roubles. Financial support will be paid throughout the year provided that the participants will comply with the set indicators and regularly submit their reports.
Oleg Pariev, who is studying at the SUSU Department of Information Security, demonstrated a high level of training and became one of the winners of the contest. This achievement of his speaks not only of his personal success, but is also a recognition of the quality of education provided by the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at SUSU.
