Student from the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications Viktoriia Valova (group ЛМ-351) is one of the winners of the Governor’s Award in the category of Youth Policy. The awarding ceremony was held on December 11th.
As the tradition goes, in December young people of the Chelyabinsk Region receive awards for their achievements in science, culture, creativity, volunteering, or public activities. Opening the assembly, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Texler thanked the enthusiastic young people for their love to our region, their initiatives and projects.
Viktoriia received a prize in the “Creative Activity” nomination. This award is annually organized for young people aged 14 to 35, with a registered residential address in the territory of the Chelyabinsk Region, and who actively participate in the implementation of the government’s youth policy.
“I’d like to encourage students to actively participate in various contests, forums and awards since this helps develop your potential. It feels nice when people acknowledge your work and your contribution to the development of the youth policy in your home region,” shared Viktoriia.
This year, 53 people received prizes of the Governor’s Award in the category of Youth Policy for their significant contribution to the implementation of the youth policy in our region. Alexey Texler also stressed that the Chelyabinsk Region is rightfully considered to be one of the leaders in terms of supporting youth initiatives, and all the available resources are used to put these projects to life.
