Our university and the plant from Kopeysk have held a ceremony of signing an agreement of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by Director General of AO “Zavod "Plastmass"” (Plastic Materials Plant) Alexander Balashov and the Rector of South Ural State University Alexander Wagner.
“With the support from the plant, as compared to last year, SUSU has managed to increase the number of students interested in the Ammunition and Detonators programme one-and-a-half times! And we understand that graduates trained for this profession are very much in demand right now and will continue to be so for years to come. I’m happy that within the frameworks of this agreement, we will work not only with academic programmes, but with the research teams as well,” the Rector noted.
The leaders shared that under this agreement SUSU students will be offered to take internships at the Plastic Materials Plant, and they will be directly involved in the production processes.
“The knowledge obtained by students at the university are a foundation for further development and upgrade of our production, which is among the most complicated and necessary ones for our country today. At the moment, combat operations are being conducted, that is why the inflow of trained specialists will allow to achieve much better results,” commented Alexander Balashov.
According to the plant director, as a motivation to study, scholarships will be aid to students, what will boost the interest in the production tasks in young people.
The joint work of our university and the plant will increase the inflow of young and promising personnel, who are the future of our region and our whole country!
