Christmas Blues New Year's concert, which featured performers from the SUSU jazz orchestra and the Baby Jazz municipal children jazz studio, was held at South Ural State University Assembly Hall on December 20th.
The concert was inspired to be organised by musician and composer, founder and artistic director of the jazz orchestra of the SUSU Recreation Centre Georgiy Anokhin. He has been engaged in this activity for over 20 years and has been shaping the musical taste of residents of our city. People have been getting to know good jazz music for many years now.
“Thank you very much to everyone who came to our event. I really want to wish you all the best in your family, prosperity and well-being. This is our traditional concert, the Baby Jazz project has existed for 24 years and will continue to delight you with wonderful music and songs,” shared Georgiy Anokhin.
The concert is held annually on the eve of the New Year holidays at our university and brings a magical mood and pleasant emotions to the audience.
The program included popular Christmas melodies, New Year songs and favourite compositions in the style of blues and jazz, which were performed in a unique arrangement by professionals and aspiring musicians: students of continuing education institutions.
