During the final seminar-meeting of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, letters of gratitude were awarded to universities that are most active in the media sphere and that were included in the Top 20 of the M-RATE ranking of Russian universities based on the results of the year ending.
South Ural State University was recognized for its teamwork and building an effective information policy in 2024.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Konstantin Mogilevsky personally congratulated representatives of universities and outlined the key tasks that university promotion specialists are facing today.
M-RATE is the only official media rating of Russian universities, which is formed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. It considers the effectiveness of universities in three main areas:

working with the media;

working in groups and channels in all social networks;

working with official websites of universities.
A team of experts analyses the activities of more than 2000 universities, 237 of which are included in the final ranking, published monthly throughout the year.
Since September 2023, SUSU has been in the TOP of the ranking, where it competes with all federal universities, and with leading universities from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
