The Bulletin of Saratov State Law Academy scientific journal published a review of the Principles of Public Law monograph, written by the authors of the SUSU Institute of Law under the leadership of Elena Titova, Director of the Institute of Law, and Tikhon Podshivalov, Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Law.
“First edition was published in 2019, and in 2023, the Prospekt federal publishing house reissued the book thanks to the wide interest in it among the scientific community members. The monograph appeared as a stage in the implementation of a big research project on the principles of law, which was conducted by the SUSU Institute of Law, in collaboration with scientists from universities of Russia and other countries,” Elena Titova, Director of the SUSU Institute of Law, told us the story of writing the book.
As a result of the research project, four monographs were published: Principles of Civil Law and Their Implementation (2017, 2020 and 2023), Principles of Private Law (2018 and 2023), Principles of Public Law (2019 and 2023) and Principles of Criminal Procedure (2022).
“We would like to thank the author of the review Svetlana Libanova, Doctor of Sciences (Law), Professor of the Department of Constitutional Law of Ural State Law University for the interest she showed in the book. The research project on the principles of law was the first experience of introducing a project approach in scientific research at the Institute of Law. Subsequently, the accumulated experience made it possible to implement the “Law of the Digital Environment” international project at the highest level. And now we are starting a new research project of “Ecology and Law of an Industrial Region (Russia and BRICS)”, within the frameworks of which we will study the trend of greening the main branches of law, and we hope that no less significant achievements await us," said Tikhon Podshivalov, Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Law, Head of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Legal Procedures, Member of the Presidential Council for Codification and Enhancement of Civil Legislation.
