On October 30th, a special program on designing and launching of new educational programmes by the SKOLKOVO School of Management started at South Ural State University.
This program helps university staff members reassemble the existing ones, or design and launch new educational programmes for training Bachelors, Specialists and Masters.
In the course of the training, SUSU academic and administrative staff members develop the structure, content, logistics and system of management for their programme, as well as prepare the plan of launching and implementation with consideration to the situation in the market, interests of stakeholders and the potential of the university.
The value of the program lies in its integral character and managerial focus. This program covers all the stages of the life cycle of university programmes and the key aspects of their development and implementation. It takes into account the specifics of higher education, interdisciplinarity, research intensity, and capability to develop various types of thinking. It is also related to research and innovative processes and is considered through four prisms: university, market, research studies and educational product.
The result of the program mastering is the developed product: creation of the project, system of management, plan of launching and implementation of an educational programme at the university.
The program includes three blocks:
"Who and Why to Teach, and What to Teach Them", "How to Teach", and "How to Organize and Implement". The training is offered guided by experienced experts in the field of education.
