Students of the School of Economics and Management Attended a Meeting with Ekaterina Mizulina

Head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina met with school pupils and students, including students from the SUSU School of Economics and Management, at the Taganay Concert Hall in Chelyabinsk.
 
More than 50 attendees from the SUSU School of Economics and Management, accompanied by their teaching mentors and Deputy Director for Extracurricular and Discipline Activities Anastasiia Lapo, wished to take part in the open dialogue with Ekaterina Mizulina. The students from South Ural State University mostly asked for the opinion of the Head of the Safe Internet League regarding the artificial intelligence technologies, growth in the demand for IT specialists, and the path of development of the Russian Internet segment in the future.

In general, the event participants learned about the rules of polite and safe Internet communication and why it is important to pay close attention to the safety of your personal data on social media. Also, significant topics related to issues relevant for the young generation were covered. Ekaterina Mizulina shared her views on the solutions to these problems, and young people actively asked questions and suggested their own ideas.


Artur Shagretdinov, senior mentor of the School of Economics and Management and Master’s degree student majoring in Management, and State and Municipal Management shared his opinion on the importance of this event:
 
“I believe that such dialogue is very important for the formation of an open space where young people can be heard. It facilitates the patriotic education and moral development. I hope that such meetings are held more often and will help establish a closer collaboration between government authorities, public organizations and youth representatives!”
