The pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Lenin Prospekt and Lesoparkovaya Street has been equipped with a set of traffic lights.
There are several university and city buildings in this location, and hundreds of people cross the busy section of the road every day. The traffic lights set is intended, firstly, to distribute traffic flows and make the passage towards the Elesina Stadium easier (previously, drivers had to let the traffic flow from Lenin Prospekt pass and wait for the right moment to drive through), and secondly, to ensure safe crossing of the roadway by students and city residents.
