RAEX Rating is one of the most well-known university rankings, that takes into consideration scientific developments of a university, quality of education, as well as the level of demand for its alumni.
According to the results of 2023, SUSU took the 53rd position, being among the top 100 in the general RAEX rating.
There are also RAEX rankings by subject that determine the leadership of universities in specific areas. The results were summed up and published on the RAEX website in May. And here SUSU entered the top twenty in a number of categories.

In the Chemistry category SUSU climbed up from the 17th place as of 2023 to the 13th in 2024, scoring 43.64 points.

In the Construction category SUSU climbed up from the 13th place as of 2023 to the 7th in 2024, scoring 71.26 points.

In the Energy category SUSU climbed up from the 11th place as of 2023 to the 10th in 2024, scoring 64.15 points.

In the Mechanical Engineering and Robotics category SUSU climbed up from the 12th place as of 2023 to the 10th in 2024, scoring 64.29 points.

In the Chemical Technologies category SUSU climbed up from the 13th place as of 2023 to the 12th in 2024, scoring 56.83 points.
In two categories, SUSU appeared in the ranking for the first time: in the Ecology category the university took the 15th position, scoring 56 points, and in the Hospitality Industry category took the 15th position, scoring 59.38 points.
The top 20 also included the Materials Technology, the Engineering and Technologies of Land Transport, Rocket and Aerospace Engineering categories.
