The Chinese-Russian Forum of Small and Medium-sized Business Enterprises in Russia, organized by the all-Russian public organization "Opora Rossii" (“Pillar of Support for Russia”), took place in China. The event was attended by Deputy Vice-Rector for Education of South Ural State University Iliana Dovgaliuk.
During the forum, Iliana Dovgaliuk delivered a presentation on the key advantages of SUSU, shared her experience in implementing joint educational projects with other universities, and outlined the main vectors of collaboration with Chinese educational institutions.
Based on the results of the meetings and discussions held, proposals for cooperation between SUSU and Chinese universities were put forward. One of them is the opening of a faculty of pre-university education for students from Wuhan at the premises of South Ural State University. This project is aimed at attracting Chinese applicants to study at SUSU.
The possibilities of cooperation between SUSU and one of the universities in Wuhan within the framework of such fields of study as Design, and Technology for Artistic Processing of Materials, including the exchange of teaching staff, are also being actively discussed.
The Chinese side expressed interest in sending at least 30 of its students to study in transport specialties at South Ural State University under the student exchange program. Besides, representatives of Chinese universities who took part in the forum expressed their interest in cooperation with SUSU and their willingness to exchange experience and knowledge in order to develop joint grant projects.
