On the Knowledge Day, Bachelor's and Master's degree students, as well as postgraduates of South Ural State University attended a lecture "On the Main Features of Work in Municipal and State Administration for University Students of the Ural Federal District".
The lecture was given by Vladimir Yakushev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District.
"Vladimir Yakushev has a very rich experience in management. In my opinion, the event is important for students. After all, future state and municipal employees study at our university. And it was on the Knowledge Day that they learned about the intricacies of this very responsible work," said Anton Manuilov, Acting Vice-Rector for Student and Social Affairs.
The ability to learn and learn quickly, to feel the wind of change, to build your team − these are the useful points noted by Vladimir Yakushev, which will come in handy to all young professionals:

The speaker focused on the importance of team motivation. The leader must do everything to ensure that all employees want to move forward and achieve great results.
"On the first of September, we, second-, third-, and fourth-year students, got a chance to listen to a lecture delivered by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District of Russia. Everything said gave us a better idea of the peculiarities in the work in municipal and state administration," says Nikita Stepanov.
At the end of the lecture, Vladimir Yakushev emphasized that in order to successfully manage and solve current problems, one must constantly improve and develop, because every day life brings new challenges.
Brief information: Vladimir Yakushev graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Tyumen State University with a degree in Jurisprudence; in 1997, he graduated with a degree in Finance and Credit. Vladimir worked at the West Siberian Commercial Bank as legal adviser, branch director, vice president, and president of the bank. Vice Governor of the Tyumen Region in 2001–2005. First Deputy Mayor of the City of Tyumen, Mayor of the City of Tyumen in 2005. Governor of the Tyumen region in 2005–2018. In 2005, he defended his dissertation (Candidate of Sciences (Economics)). Since May 18, 2018 − Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation. Since November 9, 2020, he has been appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District. He was also awarded the Order of Honour and the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 4th degree. Honorary citizen of the Tyumen region (2018).
