A welded high-strength alloys special issue of Crystal journal will be edited by South Ural State University researcher. It is a chance to use his competence in the welding area and to learn trends of new research.
South Ural State University researcher Dawei Zhao is invited to be a guest editor of a special issue “Mechanical Behaviour of Welded High-Strength Alloys” that will be published by Crystal journal.
This is the second work as a guest editor for Dawei Zhao. Previous time has been in Frontiers Mechanical Engineering journal from May, 2021 to January, 2022. Researcher has worked with a colleague from Portugal and two specialists from India. The experience will help him to perform the duties of an editor of the special issue.
“As the main guest editor of this special issue, I should depict the scope and main points of it. I also need to provide a list of potential authors for this special issue to the editorial office. After this special issue is published online, I shall wait for the submitted manuscripts and assign them to other guest editors in our group based on the theme of the manuscripts. Because each guest editor does well in specific fields,” says Dawei Zhao.
SUSU researcher specializes in welding. He works at SUSU Institute of Engineering and Technology and searches for spot welding of high-strength steels. Working as an editor, Dawei Zhao expects to learn the new trend of the research work related to this special issue around the world.
The special issue “Mechanical Behaviour of Welded High-Strength Alloys” will be published after September, 2022. Before this date manuscripts are waiting. The special belongs to Crystal – the highly rated journal (Q2).
