On September 6th, a permanent COVID-19 vaccination site opened at South Ural State University.
Now students can get vaccinated during the break time between classes. All they need to bring with them are their passport, SNILS, and their insurance policy. Students will also need to fill out a patient questionnaire provided on-site by doctors during their visit. Those who have had contact with a person with confirmed COVID diagnosis within 14 days, or who are experiencing signs of a cold or flu are not allowed to be vaccinated.
"I decided to get vaccinated because I trust medicine. First, I am very worried about the health of my loved ones, and second, I am also worried about my own health, so I decided to get vaccinated," said Rustam Shakirov, student of group ET-232, who got recently vaccinated.
There are three vaccines that visitors can choose from:
Sputnik V: a combined vector vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 infection;
CoviVac: inactivated, whole-virion concentrated purified coronavirus vaccine;
Sputnik Lite: a lighter version of the Sputnik V vaccine, which does not require a second dose.
Everyone can get vaccinated against the coronavirus infection at: University Store, 1st floor, SUSU Building No.2, 85 Lenin Prospekt.
Every day from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 16.00.
Students and staff members of the university can also visit Room 117 at the Municipal Clinical Hospital No.2, 82 Lenin Prospekt. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00.
