The Psychology in a Changing World: Problems, Hypotheses, Prospects Science-to-practice Conference was held at South Ural State University. The event marked the 25th anniversary of the SUSU Faculty of Psychology. Participants from universities of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus were united in the online scientific information space. The student science-to-practice conference was organized under the auspices of the Russian Psychological Society.
The aim of the conference is to involve young people into research activities, exchange of experience and demonstration of the best achievements that will help to develop Russian psychology in the future and give directions to its development.
“This year, due to the fact that it is a jubilee conference, we are planning to publish and release the jubilee volume of the journal of Psychology and Psychophysiology. In this journal, the best articles prepared by the conference participants will be published,” said the Dean of the SUSU Faculty of Psychology Elena Rylskaya.
During the conference, the authors of the best works presented their research. Students-researchers, doctoral candidates and their academic advisors took part in it. Among them was Ivan Skorobrenko. For several years in a row, he has been presenting the results of his research at the conference at SUSU.
“In fact, psychology is about our life and the topics of the reports presented at the conference every year are very interesting, deep and relevant for our time. And, of course, all these reports are of great scientific interest for me personally and for the entire community of psychologists. This is a unique contribution to science.” says Master’s student of the Faculty of Psychology of South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University Ivan Skorobrenko.
The Psychology in a Changing World has become a traditional conference organised by the Faculty of Psychology for over 7 years. Last year, more than 80 applications were received for applying to participate in the conference.
