Employers Assembly continues its work at South Ural State University. Representatives of the major regional and Russian companies share with students what opportunities their enterprises have to offer them, and the university students can ask their potential employers questions.
"Today guests from the Academician V.P. Makeyev State Rocket Centre have paid us a visit. The enterprise representatives held conversations with the students of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, and the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and told them about the Centre and about the career prospects for young specialists," says specialist for youth affairs of the Applicant Consultation Centre Ivan Lutokhin.
Fifth-year student of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science Egor Teslenko takes his training majoring in Radioelectronic Systems and Complexes. For his future pre-graduation training, the young man has chosen one of the major research-and-design centres in Russia engineering rocket and space equipment – the Academician V.P. Makeyev State Rocket Centre.
"This work is interesting. I'd like to participate in engineering of rocket and space equipment. The work conditions and the salary suit me well, and I like that the support for young specialists is provided for at the enterprise," shares Egor Teslenko. "Today I've asked the questions I still had and received answers to them; so, I'm planning on taking the internship at the enterprise in summer."
Also, within the frameworks of the Assembly, part of the meetings between the applicants and employers are held directly at the enterprises of Chelyabinsk. Today students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology have gone on an excursion to the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant. During this week on site events are held at the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant, ChelPipe, and Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant. Students are offered master classes, and tours around the enterprises with the demonstration of the equipment.
