SUSU Professor Awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation

Aleksandr Vydrin, Professor of the Department of Metal Forming of the SUSU Institute of Engineering and Technology, has been awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin presented government awards in the field of science and technology on November 24th. Aleksandr Vydrin, Professor of the Department of Metal Forming and Deputy General Director of the Russian Research Institute of the Tube and Pipe Industries (RosNITI, Chelyabinsk), which is part of the TMK company, was among the awardees. The prize was given for the development, mastering and implementation of highly efficient science-intensive technologies for the production of seamless pipes.

Among the laureates of the prize also were the following young scientists: head of the laboratory of the TMK Research and Development Centre at Skolkovo Evgeny Shkuratov, and deputy head of the Research and Development Centre laboratory Evgeny Khramkov, both graduates of the Department of Metal Forming of the SUSU Institute of Engineering and Technology.
