Aliya Safina, Head of the Project Management Office for Improving the Business Climate of the Chelyabinsk Region, spoke on studying at the SUSU School of Economics and Management.
– Why did you decide to become a professional manager?
– I chose the State and Municipal Management programme on purpose. Already back in my school years, I was interested in such disciplines as market economy and law.
– What opportunities have opened for you at SUSU?
– I am very satisfied with the educational process at SUSU, it topped all my expectations. Lectures and practical training were interesting, and most importantly, the gained knowledge helped me in practice and in my work. As a student, I had been awarded prizes in various contests both at the university and all-Russian levels many times. But all the achievements and victories would have been impossible without the high qualification and competence of the academic staff of the department, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them.
– How did your career start?
– After graduating from the university I was employed as an information systems specialist at the regional Project Management Office for Improving the Business Climate. In 2019 I started working as a project coordinator, and this year I hold the position of the head of the Project Management Office, which manages the collaboration among executive authorities, local self-government, business entities and public associations in order to implement successful regional management practices of the National Investment Climate Index in the Russian Federation entities on the territory of the Chelyabinsk Region.
