August 26th through 28th, a district forum on new media culture Med will be held in Chelyabinsk. Bloggers, content managers and journalists from all around the Ural region are invited to learn about the trends and new tendencies in the media sphere.
The forum program will include lectures, workshops, trend session, and meetings with famous Ural media figures. 200 participants will be able to communicate with experts regarding the media of the future, creation of a personal brand, and implementation of neural networks and robotics. Among the speakers will be representatives Russia Today international television channel, creators of Internet editions, lecturers and supervisors of the projects of the Higher School of Economics, producers, marketing specialists of federal companies, bloggers and journalists.
You can file your applications to the forum to the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs till August 10th. You will need to create a personal account at the website (indicate your personal data and attach a photo), and after that – fill in the Participant’s Questionnaire in the Events section. The selection will be held as per the criteria of your work experience, accomplishments in the media sphere, as well as your own projects.
This year, Med will be held for the fourth time, and it will be the first time that it will be welcoming guests from all Ural regions: the Chelyabinsk Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Kurgan Region, Tyumen Region, as well as the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District and Yamal. Last year, the forum headliners were Mikhail Budanov, Head of the New Media Department of Yota federal company; and Vasiliy Yaschuk, publicity agent of blogger Anastasiya Ivleeva and tour manager of Allj.
