As part of a long-term research partnership program, students from the SUSU Department of Russian Language and Literature: Marina Mozzherina, Artem Shilintsev and Matvey Sholokhov became members of the Editorial Board of the journal SlavicumPress of the University of Zurich.
The online journal SlavicumPress was formed as part of an academic research project with the goal of publishing scientific articles, literary texts, and film reviews created by Slavic studies students from different countries. Everyone who is interested in Slavic studies have free access to materials, linguistic and ethnographic comments, translations, vocabulary lists, texts, and films. Articles are published in Slavic and European languages.
Besides South Ural State University, SlavicumPress gained partners from Institute of Russian Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Pushkin House), University of Konstanz, University of Bern, University of Zagreb, and University of Lausanne. Thanks to this partnership, students from various countries can exchange knowledge and complete research in Slavic studies.
Partnership with the online journal is one of the fields of collaboration between the University of Zurich’s Institute of Slavic Studies and the Department of Russian Language and Literature, who regularly hold joint research events both at SUSU and at University of Zurich.
