Students, postgraduates and young academics of SUSU are invited to take part in the 16th All-Russian contest of youth projects in the sphere of education called “My Country – My Russia”. This event is targeted at social and economic development of Russian territories.
The Contest has been held since 2003 in order to attract young people to development and implementation of projects intended for improvement of governing system in regions, cities and settlements of Russia as well as for development of real sector of the economy and of social and educational spheres.
Organisers of the event are: Russian Academy of Education, Rossiya – Strana Vozmozhnostey (Russia is the Country of Possibilities) Autonomous Non-profit Organisation, and Youth Social and Economic Initiatives All-Russian Union of Public Associations. The project is supported by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Roskongress Foundation, Znanie (Knowledge) Russian Society, National Training Foundation, and Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
The Contest covers practically all range of issues topical for development of Russian territories, including the issues of education, innovations, social environment, housing and public utilities, agriculture, and many others. Participants can present one or several projects in the following 19 categories:
- My country;
- My mother tongue;
- Creative industries for regions’ development;
- Intellectual property is the future of my country;
- My pedagogy initiative;
- My family;
- My open universities;
- Digital environment for improvement of life quality of citizens in regions;
- My settlement;
- My city;
- Architectural image of my small motherland;
- Transport. Transport routes of my country;
- My home;
- My health;
- Advanced manufacturing technologies of the NTI;
- My hospitable Russia;
- Ecology of my country;
- Twinned cities of my country (special category);
- Implemented projects (special category).
Young people aged 14-35 are invited to take part in the Contest; however, a number of categories has no age limits. Deadline for submission of applications is April 10 of 2019.
Winners of the Contest will be awarded with educational grants and bonuses, as well as get the opportunity to undertake prestigious internships. Moreover, they have a chance to get an assigned mentor and additional EGE (Unified State Exam) or admissions test points for programmes of Bachelor’s or Master’s studies or for postgraduate studies.
