5th-year students of the SUSU Institute of Law took part in a meeting with representatives of the Main Investigation Department of the HO MIA of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region, held within cooperation with employers regarding recruitment of graduates studying in the specialty of Law Enforcement Activities.
Head of the Organisational-Area Department, Justice Lieutenant Colonel Sagandyk Zhumashev and investigator of the Main Investigation Department (MID), Justice Major Yulia Kobzova talked about investigative branch of the MID as of the largest division of pretrial investigation agencies in our region, which is an independent subdivision of the HO MIA of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region and which conducts investigation of 90% of all crimes.
Special attention of the speakers was focused on organisation and specificities of official activity of investigators and on formation of necessary professional and personal qualities. Also, they characterized indicators of efficiency of investigators’ work while implementing their credentials in the sphere of investigation of crimes subject to investigation by internal affairs agencies.
In her speech, Senior Specialist of the MID’s Staff Relations Department, Justice Major Oksana Sosunova accented attention of the students on characteristic features of public service in internal affairs agencies, in particular, in investigative forces. Essential interest of students was arisen by specific examples of legal and social-and-economic warranties and benefits designated for investigators.
Having answered numerous questions of the students, MID staff invited future lawyers for employment to pretrial investigation agencies of the MID HO MIA of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region.
The meeting also featured Deputy Director Vladimir Maysak, Head of the Department of Law Enforcement Activity and National Security, Sergey Zuev, and Associate Professors Irina Pustovaya and Aleksandr Semenov.
