South Ural State University offers a flexible system of paying for education. A supplementary agreement allows to pay for the educational services as per comfortable scheme or using the assets of the federal subsidies for multiple-child families.
Payment Options
SUSU offers several options of payment for the educational services under the full-time study programmes. The enrolees are free to choose the most convenient one for them.
Under the signed contract it is possible to:
- Transfer a monthly payment in the amount of the 1/10 of the yearly payment before the start of every calendar month. To be included in the Order of Admission, it is sufficient for an enrolee to sign a supplementary agreement and to pay 10 percent of the yearly amount before August 15, 2018. This agreement allows to transfer the payment in stages, not loosing money to the interest on bank credit. Further on, it will not obligatory to have a bank receipt, as payments may be transferred via the Gorod payment system;
- Transfer payments as per semesters (one half of the yearly amount before August 15, 2018, and the other half — before February 1, 2019);
- Transfer the whole yearly amount before August 15, 2018; or
- Pay using the funds under the federal subsidies for multiple-child families. For this option, a supplementary agreement shall be signed with SUSU, and documents shall be submitted to the Pension Fund. In such event there will be no need to wait till the university receives the payment. The applicants will be deemed as admitted to studies once they sign the supplementary agreement. There is not need for any other funding in addition to the assets of the federal subsidies for multiple-child families.
Monthly Scholarship of 10,000 Roubles!
Both students of the state-funded and contract-based forms of studies have a chance to be receiving a monthly scholarship of 10,000 roubles during the first semester. Such scholarship is paid to the first-year students who have entered the university with high grade points earned at the Unified State Examination (EGE) or at the internal entrance tests, as well as to the Olympiad victors or prize-winners enrolling without examinations, and to the winners of Zvezda (Star) Multidisciplinary Engineering Olympiad enrolling in accordance with the standard procedure.
The scholarship will be paid to students under the Bachelor’s and Specialist programmes, who have earned at least 240 grade points when entering the university. Talented students of the contract-based form of studies “clear” the expenses on their education in almost over six months – from September to January.
Grade points required for receiving the SUSU scholarship:
- 240 grade points under the Engineering, Technologies and Engineering Sciences programme;
- 250 grade points under the Society Sciences; Education and Pedagogical Sciences; Humanities; Arts and Culture programmes;
- 340 grade points under the Fine Arts and Applied Arts programme;
- 420 grade points under the Architecture programme.
The difference in the grade points is explained by the fact that for a number of specialities with additional creative tests the minimal scholarship grade points are higher.
Students of the state-funded form of studies are paid high academic scholarship. Around 2,000 roubles are paid every month to Bachelor’s and Master’s students during the first semester, and in their further studies they can be paid higher academic scholarship depending on their academic performance. The maximum amount of the high academic scholarship can reach 28,000 roubles.
Moreover, SUSU students can apply for more than 20 types of scholarships, including the Russian Federation Presidential Scholarship, Russian Federation Government Scholarship, Scholarship of the Chelyabinsk Region Governor, and many others.
