On December 19th, at the SUSU Activity Hall, 9 teams from the School of Economics and Management fought to win the title of the best department of the School of Economics and Management. The event was held on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of South Ural State University.
Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Vyacheslav Burmatov delivered a welcome speech for the academics, administrative staff and students of the School of Economics and Management, and the guests of the event.
“You are students of the best school of economics in our region, which remains truly up-to-date, ambitious and topical. The School of Economics and Management keeps up with the times and possesses a solid base, both with regard to education and recreation. There’s not a single project being fulfilled at SUSU, which students of the School did not take part in. And we’re very happy about the fact that a wave of events on the occasion of our university’s 75th Anniversary is still underway, even after the main celebrations are over.”
The 9 teams of the departments of the School of Economics and Management took to stage to participate in the most extraordinary exam session of their life. The exam consisted of 4 rounds: self-introduction, SUSU History exam, “Advanced Math” exam, and a creative challenge for the teams (student pop sketch).
After all the rounds the winners were announced.
- 1st prize diploma, a cup, and a certificate for a trip to Uralochka recreation camp were awarded to the team from the Department of Economic Security;
- 2nd prize diploma and a certificate for a trip to Uralochka recreation camp were awarded to the team from the Department of Customs Affairs;
- 3rd prize diploma was awarded to the team from the Department of Finance, Supply, and Credit.
