The Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) opened its doors for future students. SUSU applicants took a tour around the Vysota 239 workshop.
“The admissions campaign is active at this time. To help applicants who are enrolling in the Institute of Engineering and Technology choose their major, we have organized this tour at the innovative Vysota 239 workshop,” says Ivan Ilyin, Deputy Dean of the SUSU Faculty of Materials Science and Metallurgical Technology.
The applicants have already chosen the majors they want to study and have seen their future place of work. Roman Sarkisyan was pleasantly surprised when he visited Vysota 239.
“I really liked it, I didn’t expect that it would be so beautiful here both inside and outside. I liked that the people who work here don’t just work, they also participate in the life of the factory,” says Roman, SUSU applicant, sharing his feelings.
SUSU applicant Vladislav Kardashin decided to study at SUSU based on the university’s rankings in the region. The future student has not yet chosen his major, but he wants to enroll at the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
“I think that SUSU is the most prestigious university in the Chelyabinsk Region,” says Vladislav, explaining his choice.
All business need specialists of a high level, and ChelPipe is no exception. On average, 100 people enroll in our engineering internships.
“The business needs specialists. To combine work and study, we developed an internship program where we employ students from the 3rd and 4th years of study. In this way, students earn their first work experiences while still studying,” notes Ekaterina Skobeleva, leading specialist in work with interns.
