School of Economics and Management of South Ural State University responds to the demands of modern employers by opening new Master’s programs. Educational modules are developed jointly with the leading enterprises of our region and country, and meet the requirements of globalization and digitalization of the world community.
Today we live in a world where digital technologies and IoT have entered practically all fields of life activities. Specialists with new competences are not only in-demand, there is a need for them.
“In the context of digitalization of business processes (implementation of digital technologies in the field of accounting and finances, electronic flow of documents; making justified managerial decisions using modern analytical and IT systems), the role of economics and management grows. At the same time the requirements to modern graduates also grow. It is already not enough to know modern software products used at the enterprises for economic activity, it is important to be able to correct them. That is why the SUSU School of Economics and Management has developed 6 new Master’s programs in order to train unique specialists, who will also have competences both in economics, in management, and in information technologies,” explains Irina Savelyeva, Director of the SUSU School of Economics and Management.
Economics
Master’s program in Accounting, Analysis and Control in Corporate Digital Environment under the economical field of training is being fulfilled at the support of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications for the Chelyabinsk Region, as well as of Avuar auditing and consulting group.
“The work of an economist and accountant is currently impossible without modern software,” notes Irina Savelyeva. “Traditional educational programs do not take that into consideration and offer students in Economics and Accounting a full range of professional disciplines, but minimum of competences in the field of automation and robotic automation of accounting and analytical processes. The new Master’s program in Accounting, Analysis and Control in Corporate Digital Environment is unique because it allows to take into consideration and timely implement digital technologies at enterprises.”
In the curriculum’s content a big share is given to training in computer programs and skills of information processing, as well as to methods of robotic automation of calculations, what allows without human participation to match separate accounting and calculation processes speeding them up several-fold. Graduates will be able to work in accounting and economical services of big enterprises, accounting outsourcing centers, as well as in places where centralization of accounting functions and their efficiency improvement is required.

The program’s graduates are guaranteed a complex training in the field of economic support of managing municipal and regional structures under SmartCity concept.
We have no doubt that there will also be enrollees interested in Master’s program in Internet Economics.
“The program focuses on training specialists in the field of Internet economics, who will have knowledge of advanced technologies for activity organization, elaboration of strategies of development and assessment of efficiency of Internet companies; skills in economic activity in the Web space. The program’s goal is to train specialists who will have competences to open and successfully make “business online”.”
