The scientific battles for young researchers at SUSU will be held for the second time on May 10, 2018. The event is held with support from the Polytechnic Museum (Moscow) and the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Oblast.
Scientific battles are simultaneously an intellectual show and a contest in which young researchers compete in their skills to clearly tell a large audience about their research in an interesting way. Each contestant must within 10 minutes inform the audience about their research and its results. During their presentations, they can use any props they require besides a powerpoint presentation.
Each round includes 5 young researchers and their personal developments and ideas! Their weapons are only their intellect, charm, and their original props!
The winner of this contest is determined by the audience and by a jury consisting of experts in science, innovations, popularizing science, illuminating audiences, and business representatives. The winner of the contest will earn valuable prizes and the cup!
The most active audience members with the best questions for the contestants will also gain intellectual prizes.
Students, postgraduates, and graduate students can take part in the next rounds of the Scientific Battles. For this it is necessary to fill out a participant form and send it to the email address of the organizational committee (maltcevaas[at]susu[dot]ru). You can download the form here.
The organizer of the contest will be the SUSU Council of Young Scientists.
The social partners of the contest are the Informational Center on Atomic Energy for Chelyabinsk, the transport and expedition company TRASKO, and the L.L. Vasileva International School of Information Management and Speed Reading.
We will welcome everyone at “Tochka Kipeniya”, Bld.1, 31 Molodogvardeytsev St., on May 10, 2018 at 18:00.
