On April 14th—17th a Hydraulic Drive Designing Olympiad was held in Yekaterinburg as part of the 16th Ural Mining Decade on Innovations as Key Factor of Regional and International Cooperation Development.
The event held at South Ural State University was supported by the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science, and the Sverdlovsk Region Administration.
Master’s students of the SUSU Faculty of Mechanics and Technology Ksenia Dvoinova, Elena Kostyleva, and Maksim Novikov, as well as Bachelor’s students Denis Malykh and Sergey Lepekha were awarded 2nd place diplomas.
Also, Denis Malykh took the 1st prize, and Maksim Novikov — the 2nd prize in individual competitions within the Olympiad.
SUSU Rector Aleksandr Shestakov awarded diplomas to the SUSU team members personally.
