On February 8, within celebration of the Day of Russian Science, Scientific fights of young scientists are to be held at SUSU for the first time!
Scientific fights are simultaneously an intellectual show and a contest in which young scientists compete in ability to talk about their own scientific research results with a big audience in simple and interesting form. Each contestant is given 7 minutes to attract the audience with his research and its results. During the speech, it is allowable to use any available attributes except for computer presentation.
Winners of the contest will be determined by jury consisting of experts in the sphere of scientific and innovative activity, education and popularization of science, and of business representatives.
Winners of the contest will receive valuable prizes. The most active spectators of the SUSU Scientific Fights will also be given prizes and gifts.
Participants of the SUSU Scientific Fights can be Master’s degree students and postgraduate students of the university. For that, it is necessary to fill in a participant’s application form and send it to the Organization Committee address (maltcevaas[at]susu[dot]ru) until January 28 of 2018.
Organizers of the contest are: Department of Science and Innovation, Department of Postgraduate Studies, and the SUSU Council of Young Scientists. Social partner of the contest is the Information Center for Chelyabinsk Nuclear Power (ITsAE).
