South Ural State University will perform training of specialists in such areas as “Accounting, Analysis and Audit” and “Industrial Economy and Project Management” for the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (ChMK, included in the Mechel group).
Correspondingly, an agreement was signed between the ChMK and the SUSU School of Economics and management. The enterprise is supposed to offer internships for talented students starting from their 2nd year of study, and after their graduation, the enterprise will provide them with job positions.
As a notice, ChMK and SUSU has been cooperating within the Target Student program during five years. Potential employees of the ChMK are studying at the faculties of material science and metallurgical technologies, control and radio electronics, and computer technologies; there are also students of the Aerospace Engineering and Power Engineering faculties and of the Faculty of Chemistry. In 2017, more than 20 graduates who got higher education on the program of target recruitment came to work at the ChMK.
“For us, the initial level of training and motivation of specialists, who need to possess a sufficient knowledge background and a spacious mind, is very important,” notes Managing Director of PAO ChMK, Anatoliy Schetinin. “The Plant provides various assistance to talented graduates of universities, gives them the opportunity for professional growth and development.”
