On November 29th the All-Russian Student Applied Science Conference “Scientific Vision” was held at the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication. This conference held for the second time (the first one was held in March) is distinguished by the fact that it is organized for students and by students.
While the first scientific forum comprised only two sections, “Scientific Vision”-2 sparked interest of more people, so the bigger number of presentations had to be divided into three sections this time. Traditionally, there were four award-winning categories: 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize, and the Best Freshman’s Presentation. The results were the following:
Section 1. Historical Processes of the 20th Century and History of International Relations

3rd prize – Egor Koksharov (ChelSU)

Section 2. Contemporary Problems of International Relations
1st prize – Yulia Skobelkina (NMSTU)
2nd prize – Ivan Grabarchyuk (NMSTU)

Section 3. Discourse and Cognitive Studies
1st prize – Anastasia Tikhonova (SUSU)
2nd prize – Yuri Kuligin, Artem Melnikov (SUSU)
3rd prize – Arina Menshikova (SUSU), Anna Plotnikova, Alina Shilkina, Vladislav Slavkov (SUSU)
Best Freshman’s Presentation – Ekaterina Fedosova, Dmitri Verenko (SUSU)
