On October 21 and 22 in Beijing took place the Chinese International Education Exhibition called “China Education Expo” which for the 17th time gathers representatives of higher, professional and additional education from more than 40 countries such as Austria, Canada, Chile, Finland, Malaysia, and other. For the fourth time representatives of South Ural State University became participants of this exhibition. The exhibition was visited by more than 60 000 people.
Under support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, a united exposition of Russian universities was created at the exhibition. Business program within the exhibition was targeted at development of bilateral cooperation with Chinese universities, extension of programs for students and teaching staff exchange between Russia and China, development of learning Russian language in China and of Chinese language in Russia.
“Participation in the China Education Expo exhibition has already become traditional for our university. Delegation of South Ural State University always demonstrates high training level and professionalism, but this experience of participation became special for us: the SUSU stand attracted attention of a representative of the PRC’s Ministry of Education; he noted the new SUSU logo and emphasized that it positively singles out our university among all participants of the exhibition,” commented Head of the International Affairs Division Olga Yaroshenko.
Besides a qualitative stand and the new logo, SUSU delegation is distinguished by high-level professionalism and the level of preparation.
“During the entire exhibit operation, there was always an excitement near the SUSU stand. In many aspects it was caused by the level of Chinese language knowledge, thanks to which we easily overcame the language barrier and could provide qualitative consultancies to all guests of the exhibition,” notes Head of the Foreign Students Support Department Ekaterina Yurovskaya.

It should be noted that participation of SUSU in international exhibitions is one of the goals targeted at SUSU’s integration into the international sphere, creation of multicultural environment inside the university and improvement of international education programs.
