On October 10th “Nature of Freiberg and Nature of Chelyabinsk” photo exhibition opened at SUSU within the framework of the German modern culture festival “German Days”. The Festival organization is supported by the German Embassy in Moscow. This year’s Festival held in Chelyabinsk is devoted to ecological issues, and its slogan is “To city ecology via ecology of consciousness”.
Elena Yaroslavova, Director of the SUSU Institute of Linguistics and International Communication delivered an opening speech. She told the exhibition visitors about the summer school in the form of which the exchange program had been fulfilled. That was when the students were able to take pictures of the landscapes of the Chelyabinsk Region and Freiberg.
“I really enjoyed the exhibition and the way German and Russian students see nature. I love landscapes, and I was especially fascinated by the photos of the Saxon Switzerland,” noted a SUSU student, Anastasia Zemtsova.
Here is to remind you that the exhibition being held on the 3rd floor of the Main University Building will last till October 13th.
