October 10th through 13th, a “Nature of Freiberg and Nature of Chelyabinsk” photo exhibition will be held at SUSU within the framework of the German modern culture festival “German Days”. The Festival organization is supported by the German Embassy in Moscow.
The main principle of the Festival remains the same ‑ intercultural communication between Russia and Germany. This year’s Festival held in Chelyabinsk is devoted to ecological issues, and its slogan is “To city ecology via ecology of consciousness”.
The exhibition visitors will be able to appreciate the nature of Germany through the eyes of the SUSU students, and the nature of Chelyabinsk through the eyes of German students. Every year SUSU takes part in the exchange program with Freiberg Mining Academy. Within the course of three weeks SUSU students study the German language in Germany, and German students study Russian in Chelyabinsk. The program also includes trips and events aimed at learning more about culture and sights of interest. Photos taken by the students of such summer schools are displayed at the photo exhibition.
The exhibition will be held in the hall of the 3rd floor at the Main University Building.
For more information on the exchange program and to sign for the next year’s summer school, please contact the Center of International Academic Programs, Room 161 of the Main University Building.
