Master’s Degree Student of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication is a Winner of the International Translation Competition

 

Ksenia Naumova, a master’s degree student (LM-135) of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication took first place at XVI International Youth Translation Competition Littera scripta, organized by the Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg).

The competition was held by the UFU Department of Foreign Languages and Translation with support of the U.S. Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, German Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Committee of Society’ Dante Alighieri (Yekaterinburg), a translation agency “Elektra” (Thessaloniki) according to the following nominations: fiction, political journalism, poetry. English, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Greek were chosen as working languages.

Ksenia Naumova took first place in the nomination “Political Journalism”, having translated a text from French into Russian.
