Developments by the Center of Computer Engineering Presented at the Largest Regional Industrial Forum

The First Regional Forum Chelyabinsk 2035: Technology of the Future was held April 12th in Chelyabinsk. The forum was held as part of the IX International Industrial Forum Reconstruction of Industrial Enterprises – Breakthrough Technologies in Metallurgy and Machine Building and the 17th International Exhibition Ural Industrial Economics Week under the banner of the Chelyabinsk Region Ministry of Economic Development.

The forum was thought up as a place for enterprises and their potential investors to meet. Within this forum the strategy for the development of the Chelyabinsk Region to 2035, innovations, new IT technologies, and achievements in robotics were discussed.

The SUSU vice-rector of strategic development, research lead of the Center of Computer Engineering, Andrey Keller, determined a concept for developing the center at the form. Andrey Vladimirovich focused his attention on business societies as the CCE’s key developments in the area of automobile and transport vehicle building: energy-efficient transmissions for KAMAZ vehicles, innovative projects for machine lathes with digitized control programs for PO Mayak, the development of high-accuracy, multi-functional, modular complexes for OOO DST-Ural, and more.

Commenting on the results of the participation in the forum, A.V. Keller stressed “The Center’s work was of great interest to manufacturers and entrepreneurs. Of particular interest to them were our developments for final reduction assemblies, driving axles, and hydromechanical transmissions for Russian loaders, graders, cars, and track machines. This interest is not accidental, since the issue of imports phase-outs is one of the most current today for the Russian automotive industry – and we are solving this successfully.”
