Science for All: KSTATI Popular Science Festival

 

From April 18 to 21, major Popular Science Festival KSTATI is taking place in Chelyabinsk. Eventful program is awaiting for those who are not indifferent to the topics of science and self-development. More than 10 Festival venues on the basis of Chelyabinsk educational institutions will be operating all over the city. One of the largest venues will become South Ural State University – the central point of South Ural’s scientific activity.

Popular Science Festival is targeted at a vast audience: various scopes of the event make it simultaneously attractive for high school and university students, teachers and those who are interested in modern popular science.

KSTATI is a marathon of lectures, scientific studio discussions, quests and intellectual games. Characteristic features of the Festival are the highest level of scholars and participation of local specialists. Relevance of the scientific topics, which are closely linked with the region’s interests, and variety of educational activities attract vast audience: from school students and families with children to professional associations. In the last year, KSTATI was held in Kaliningrad, Rostov-on Don, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Voronezh, Minsk. Nowadays Chelyabinsk has joined the list.

Sponsor of the Festival, ANO Nuclear Industry Information Center supported by the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, is planning to hold the Popular Science Festival in Chelyabinsk in the period of April 18 till 21. The Festival takes place in the regions where Atomic Energy Information Centers are located.
