Russian Science Foundation has announced the beginning of open public contest for obtaining scholarship on several activities of the President program of research projects. The scholarships are allocated for conducting fundamental and exploratory research aimed at solving specific problems in the framework of one of the determined priorities in the Strategy of science and technology development of the Russian Federation. All the scholarships are aimed at supporting young scientists:
- «Independent research conducted by young scientists»

Amount of one scholarship – up to 1,5 million rubles annually

For experienced scientific teams there is an opportunity to obtain sufficient financial support for conducting research:
- «Research conducted by the world-class laboratories in the framework of implementation the priorities in science and technology development of the Russian Federation», carried out by the leading scientists, including young scientists.

One scholarship of the Foundation amounts: in 2017 – 30 million rubles; in 2018 – 28 million rubles; in 2019 – 26 million rubles; in 2020 – 24 million rubles on the condition of co-funding: in 2017 – 2 million rubles; in 2018 – 4 million rubles; in 2019– 6 million rubles; in 2020 – 8 million rubles.

Such contests are not only an effective system of material and moral incentive for creative activity of young scientists and scientific supervisors in the conditions of intellectual rivalry and competition. It is also the extension of the possibilities for self-education, professional development and personal fulfilment of the young scientists.
