On August 30th a presentation of the analytical report entitled “The Concept of Eurasianism: Then and Now” will be held at the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Organizers include the Eurasian Partnership fund for socioeconomic development, South Ural State University, M. Osimi Tajik Technical University, South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Karaganda Region Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
Presentations of the analytical reports will take place in an online dialog. Participants include experts from Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, representatives of national expatriate communities of countries of the central Asian region in the South Ural region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
The main goal of the analytical report presentations is to: study the integration processes for the stabilization of economic, political, and social situations of member countries of the Eurasian Commonwealth; analyze special qualities of the sociocultural development of modern Russian society given Eurasian ideas; search for and develop channels and methods to promote the idea of a unified Eurasian historical and cultural heritage among the Russian public and the public of Eurasian Commonwealth countries.
Specialists plan on discussing the following issues in the presentation and press conference:
- Eurasianism as an integration of the post-soviet space;
- Spiritual values of the Eurasian idea;
- Perspectives and development of the Eurasian idea for Central Asian countries;
- Eurasianism and Kazakhstan;
- Cultural and historical aspects of the Eurasian idea.
