Foreign post graduate students studying at South Ural State University within the framework of academic mobility programs will take active part in ‘Science of SUSU’ forum dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Russian Science. They are citizens of Iraq, China, Tajikistan, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and other countries. Within the framework of the Forum they will visit scientific and technical centers and university laboratories excursions, as well as visit SUSU Museum of History where they can learn the history of the scientific schools of the University.
Topics of work of post graduate students from Zhejiang Ocean University (PRC) is associated with architecture and general linguistics. Zhao Sheng will re-port on the results of the research ‘Architectural and Landscape Principles of the Organization of Tourist Islands of China’ under the direction of Head of the Department of Architecture Doctor of Architecture, Professor S.G. Shabiev. Gu He will represent functional and semantic field of the concept of ‘love’ in Chinese and Russian linguistic view of the world under the direction of Doctor of Philology, Professor E.V. Kharchenko. Lu Fanbin will tell the audience about the results of the study of adjectives denoting yellow colour in the Russian and Chinese languages (academic supervisor - Doctor of Philology, Professor O.A. Turbina). Postgraduate student Batsaihan Namzhalmaa (Mongolia) shared his experiences in the use of information technologies in teaching Russian language to Mongolian students (academic supervisor – Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor L.K. Geikhman).
Works of post graduate students from Iraq are presented in the technical sciences. Alsigar Masar Kadhim Razzak works on the study of contact temperature in grinding processes (academic advisor – Doctor of Engineering A.A. Diakonov). Work of Al Isawi Jawad Kadim Tahir is devoted to the study of the class of dynamic equations in quasi Sobolev spaces (academic supervisor – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor A.A. Zamyshlyaeva). Research of Hasan Phaz Laft Hasan is devoted to the study of the analog of linearized Hoff equation in quasi Sobolev spaces (academic supervisor – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor M.A. Sagadeeva). Diyab Aus Nidal Diyab studies mathematical modeling of critical states of soft interlayers in thin-walled cylindrical shells under the direction of Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor V.L. Dilman. Mezal Yaser Ali Mezal and Chalub Khalid Z. Chalub carry out scientific research in the Department of Economic and Mathematical Methods and Statistics under the direction of Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor A.V. Panyukov. The first student deals with the analysis of time series, the future thesis of the second student deals with the problems of transport logistics. PhD student from the Czech Republic Tomas Buchal examines the specifics of project planning in construction under the direction of Doctor of Economics, Professor E.V. Gusev.
Young scientists from former Soviet republics also actively defend their theses at South Ural State University. Three citizens of Tajikistan work on their master theses at the university. Shahriyor Saidaliev designs installation for electro-floatation method of removing dissolved water from oil products to ensure fire and environmental safety. At the conference Shahriyor will also present a report on the evaluation of conditions of electrical safety of 0.4 kV networks when changing parameters of neutralling scheme. Nurullo Tabarov will evaluate electrical safety in power distribution zone in Dushanbe. Ramazon Abdulloev will talk about developments on the plan of screening experiment on the study of the impact of various factors on the process of corrosion of grounding devices. The work of post graduate students from Tajikistan is directed by Doctor of Engineering, Professor A.I. Sidorov.
The representative of Kazakhstan Valery Bogdanov will deliver a presentation on the development of a test stand for the study of acoustic inflammation. His work is directed by the Dean of Aerospace Faculty, Doctor of Engineering E.V. Safonov.
Most foreign citizens participating in a conference plan to defend their theses at SUSU in the nearest future. The desire of foreign students to defend their theses in Russian and their confidence in the Russian scientific schools promote strengthening of the interest of foreign academic community in South Ural State University and ultimately increases the global competitiveness of the National Re-search South Ural State University on the international arena.
