Within the framework of the forum ‘Science of SUSU – 2016’ on February 5th experts of Thomson Reuters, the company which develops and provides the world search platform Web of Science, will hold a series of seminars at South Ural State University the main goal of which is training of university researchers and teaching staff skills of effective work with the largest scientific platform.
Web of Science is a search platform which represents most reference databases of scientific publications in scientific magazines in the world. It also includes information on patents. Thomson Reuters expert in training and support of subscribers, Sergei Paramonov (Moscow), will hold a seminar ‘Scientometric Analysis of Publications of SUSU - Current State and Prospects’ in ‘SIGMA’ educational and leisure complex of SUSU from 14:00 to 16:00 (78, Lenin Ave.). During the seminar Sergei Paramonov will present the analysis of the competitive environment in the field of university research in Russia according to the Web of Science and will tell the researchers about SUSU position in this competitive field now.
