On March 14 within the framework of XII International Congress "Public Relations and Advertising: Theory and Practice" Mass Communication Department of SUSU Faculty of Journalism with the assistance of Department of the Federal Tax Service of Chelyabinsk region held a special contest of students' advertisement and PR projects.
The contest objective is to provide the students with an opportunity to develop the advertisement and PR projects aimed at improving the mobilization of citizens for tax liabilities execution. The students' works were estimated by the expert committee which comprised:
- А.V. Zager, Deputy Head of Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation of Chelyabinsk region;
- V.М. Zykova, Assistant of Head of Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation of Chelyabinsk region;
- P.S. Loginov, Head of Taxpayers Service Department of DFTS of the Russian Federation of Chelyabinsk region;
- Е.V. Zotova, Head of Individuals Taxation Department of DFTS of the Russian Federation of Chelyabinsk region.
Nine projects created by the students of South Ural State University and Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts took part in the competition. The works of the following students were considered to be the winners:
- Matsak Elena, Shvets Tatyana (SUSU, IV-year students) "Good taxpayer is competent taxpayer!" – 1st place.
- Naumova Mariya, Dvoretskaya Mariya (SUSU, II-year students) "We can understand taxes!" – 2nd place.
- Permyakova Natalya, Savinova Kristina (SUSU, III-year students) "Mechanism of tax games" – 3d place.
- Mashaber Alexandra, Karaeva Ekaterina, Belitskaya Oksana (SUSU, I-year students) "Tax means commitment to the future" – 3d place.
"The special contest announced by DFTS of the Russian Federation of Chelyabinsk region was carried out at a high level. We are grateful to the professors and students of Mass Communication Department of SUSU Faculty of Journalism and to the students of Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts for interesting advertisement and PR projects. The represented communication technologies and tools were different in their novelty, creativity and caused the interest on the part of the expert committee. Also we should mention the courage and professionalism of the projects' authors. Each work was worth the victory and the ideas offered by students would be realized in our professional activity", - said A.V.
